Pitru Dosh Nivaran

In Sanatan Dharma, we carry the blessings of our ancestors, our Pitru, in every part of life. When their final rites were incomplete, when they left this world with unfulfilled wishes, or when the family has not remembered them through shraddh and tarpan, tradition holds that this imbalance can show up as Pitru Dosh.

Families often describe it as a pattern rather than a single problem: repeated delays in marriage or childbirth, ongoing discord at home, financial setbacks despite hard work, or a sense that progress keeps slipping away. The remedy is not fear. It is remembrance, gratitude and the completion of what was left undone.

At the Sarveshwari Shakti Akhara, our sadhvis perform the Pitru Dosh Nivaran pooja with a personal sankalp in your family's name. Depending on your situation, this may include pitru tarpan with til and water, pind daan, Pitru Gayatri and Shiva mantra jaap, and a havan for the peace of departed souls. Where needed, deeper rites such as Tripindi Shraddh or Narayan Bali can be arranged.

Amavasya and Pitru Paksha are considered especially powerful for these rites, but the pooja can be performed on any auspicious day. You can join live online or at the ashram, and you will be guided on simple practices, such as offering water and food in your ancestors' name, to continue at home.
